The Institute of Knowledge Exchange (IKE), HSUHK, in collaboration with Wormhole and Bolarity Network, recently hosted the event “Under the Radar: How Blockchain is Quietly Reshaping Institutional Finance.” This event uncovered the subtle, yet profound transformations brought about by blockchain technology and explore how it quietly reshaping the financial landscape.
Under the representative 3Bs of HSUHK Dr. John Leung associated the practical relationship between students and the industry to spotlight their vision on emerging technologies. Mr. Sushat Kurren from Wormhole Foundation explored opportunities for “Unlocking the Next Trillion Dollars” through strategic growth among financial institutions, corporations, and industry leaders.
This event also brought together key players in the domain to discuss how blockchain bridges traditional and digital assets to enhance market efficiency. A fireside chat featured insights from the Hong Kong Family Office perspective on Web 3 and its influence on traditional wealth. The first panel discussion addressed scaling Web 3 for institutions, focusing on bridging, Layer 2 solutions, and liquidity.
