恒生大學知識交流學院舉辦文體旅未來發展研討會

 

香港恒生大學知識交流學院今日舉行「文體旅合一、綻放無限可能」未來發展研討會,活動由該學院主辦,文體旅發展研究中心、大灣區醫療專業發展協會協辦,並獲亞洲運動及體適能專業學院及高能文旅支持。研討會邀得海洋公園行政總裁黃嗣輝先生、創世電視總監葉家寶先生及世界泰拳金牌得主向柏榮先生擔任嘉賓,就文體旅融合對香港經濟社會的重要性展開深度交流。

 

恒生大學校長何順文教授指出,現今的文體旅融合了生活多方面的知識與在地人文質素,與博雅教育息息相關。他強調,將三者合而為一,可衍生更多新產業,產生更佳的化學作用。

 

協理副校長(知識交流)兼知識交流學院總監梁偉強博士補充,文體旅並非獨立存在,而是相輔相成,能為個人、社會及經濟帶來巨大效益。他認為文體旅屬博雅教育一環,在AI時代,博雅教育所強調的「怎樣想」(how to think)比「怎樣做」(how to do)更為重要。深入文體旅的體驗與學習,可以擴闊個人視角、提升溝通能力、促進轉化以不斷挑戰和突破自我,並加強分辨是非對錯的能力。

為配合政府政策,知識交流學院副總監周家賢教授表示,恒生大學計劃開辦相關課程,以培育更多專業人才,共同推動香港文體旅產業的蓬勃發展。

 

The Institute of Knowledge Exchange (IKE) at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) today hosted a symposium titled “Integrating Culture, Sports, and Tourism: Unleashing Possibilities” today in collaboration with the Tourism, Heritage & Sports Education Hub; the Greater Bay Area Medical Professional Development Association; Asia Academy for Sports and Fitness Professionals; and Ko Live Media.

 

Distinguished speakers from the culture, sports, and tourism sectors included Mr Ivan Wong, Chief Executive of Ocean Park; Mr Ip Ka-po, Director of Creation TV; and Mr Heung Pak-wing, IFMA International Gold Champion, who shared invaluable insights into their respective fields. Their presentations deeply resonated with attendees, and sparked meaningful discussions on the vital role of culture, sports and tourism in Hong Kong’s economy and society.

 

Professor Simon Ho, President of HSUHK, emphasised that culture, sports and tourism are integral to daily life, enriching humanistic values and aligning with liberal arts education. Dr John Leung, Associate Vice-President (Knowledge Exchange) and Director of IKE, highlighted the interconnected nature of the culture, sports, and tourism sectors, noting their complementary roles in generating significant societal and economic benefits. Professor Gavin Chau, Associate Director of IKE, said, “In order to support government’s policies on culture, sports and tourism, HSUHK plans to offer courses that will nurture more talent for the advancement of Hong Kong’s culture, sports and tourism industries.”
