Dr John Leung, Director of Institute Knowledge Exchange (IKE) at HSUHK and Professor Gavin Chau, Co-Director of the Centre for Quality Standard and Management (CQSM), shared their insights on knowledge transfer and quality standards in green development at the “Carbon-Driven Innovation in Productive Forces – Greater Bay Area Forum” organised by the Liberal Party on 28 August 2025.

Dr Leung presented IKE’s ACT Model, which aims to solve social and business challenges through knowledge transfer. Professor Chau discussed CQSM’s role in quality standardisation for green initiatives. Both scholars also addressed misinformation challenges in the digital age, and emphasised the importance of credible knowledge sources and quality assurance.
